(My) Space Orientation 2011

Orientation Opening Ceremony today was hilarious. Ms Lai was dressed up with aluminium foil and she was pushed down the aisle in a trolley by the Naidirem Council. The trolley is disguised as a silver flying saucer with a stool inside. She wasn't that sure on what to do so she would ask with the mike what to do now, and said what the student council asked her to undergo each orientation. Hilarious!

My combi is BCME, H1 Econs! YAYY!! Haha and my OG is Phobos 4! Also means that I'm in red house! Finally non-yellow. :) Oh the 6 AGLs from D4 are my OGLs too! Add Darren to them. :)

We had icebreakers then we learned the couple dance. Paired up with a guy wearing a NPCC shirt, name is James Lui. Was just a little awkward to do the washing machine since he's around 10cm shorter than me. But he is quite a good dancer. I'm not. Haha. Then we had lunch as an OG, chatted with Ethel and Shermaine. Ethel's quite like me in that she doesn't open up, open to those close to her, wants to be enthu but too shy too and seems more comfortable with someone of authority. So it's good that Shermaine has been talking to her, she's getting more comfortable. :) Then House Time! House Cap is Soon Lai, Vice Cap Lea. Kai tai is Pub IC. Learned more cheers. Pho-pho-phobos, pho-pho-phobos!

Then games! Story is to find the four suspected to be the Nian's apprentice and to figure out who is the real henchman, which was a SC named Meiryl. Yvonne also acted as a fellow apprentice who was part of the Naidirem council. Team-bonding, OGs split into 4 routes, we're on route 4. Didn't play wet games, stuck with Shermaine. Hmm I need to be more vocal this year. Haha oh yeah Shermaine asked me if I was thinking of joining a leadership position, eg House Comm or Student Council. Now that I think of it, would be quite interesting to be CG leader. Games were okay, class still very separated, the VS guys and TK girls and SKSS girls only talk within each other. Lots of vocal peeps, but they're a nice bunch. I think we just need to see ourselves as ONE class.

Year's gonna be good. :)

EDIT: no i'm not saying that Ethel's personality is the same as mine. very different actually. haha Ethel later said that she had a lot on her mind that day, resulting in a scary and cool appearance.
