Mighty Meridian March!
Aka amazing race.
Must say, their organization is really good. 7 zones, with one group from each house according to the number of the group. So P4 goes with C4, A4, M4 and T4. Then go to 3 stations in each zone within 40 mins, then check out at the Zone IC and move to the next zone. Super.
So we went to Tanjong Pagar first, some of us played I Have Never. Haha Shirley says that she is a bad influence haha. She's such an optimistic and strong person, you can't help but get into the enthu spirit! ;D Anyway, what did we do? Oh yes. We had GPS, followed it, ran in the wrong direction and ran back after Sing yan consulted the map. I trust maps more. :) Played a game where we form 2 circles and must direct the blindfolded person (Julia) to throw something into the constantly moving circles. Full points! Then we had to find passers-by with certain items, give free hugs and take pics including the whole OG. Full points! Saw the teachers but missed our chance. Then we ran up 3 storeys, couldn't find the game ICs and saw them at the next block. Ran down and up again. We were late so I think we used the warp card.
Then Clarke Quay. Some got left behind at Outram Park but met up at Clark Quay. Ran up 5 storeys/90 steps to ground level. Ran all the way to Cavenagh Bridge, which is the farthest station. Found all 5 red rafia strings within 5 mins and got max pts! Then played an observation game about the shops near us, Lois was a game IC there. We're the first team to get all correct! :D Phobos, Phobos! Then we had to pair up and travel varied lengths with only 2 feet per pair, collecting rubber bands. 25, so I didn't have a pair. Travelled to ION for lunch at BK.
At Orchard, we played at Shermaine's station. Split into 3, Team 1 had to play Taboo, we got 10 of 12! Team 2 had to find items and take pics of them, team 3 had to build some funny thing. Next station was near mrt, loads of words in different colours on a majong paper. We divided into our MRT groups and each memorised a quarter of the paper. Heehee Shirley whispered that she'll stand behind so can whisper to us. But we passed anyway! :D Full points! Then outside Wheelock Place, we had to first prevent the ball from touching the ground in our circle without hands, then do as a whole class. Someone got hit in the head so full points, but the ball fell so forfeit. Jumping Jacks 1 2 3 4, I love MJC! 2 2 3 4, I love MJC! 3 2 3 4, I love MJC! 4 2 3 4, I love MJC! We were stared at, yay!! Haha then we went to the station opposite the road. Paired up (with May!) and holding the ball between us, we have to step across hurdles without knocking over the bottles. Full points! Went back to school. At the bus stop, we met Phobos 1, 2, 3 and 5! Haha and 2 Atlas groups. We tried to block them from boarding the bus. xD But some of us were left behind. Anyway, Phobos is the 3rd house with all groups back!
Back in the hall, we dance the Couple Dance, followed by Boom Boom Pow and Fusion, all at one go! Supposed to stay for the OGLs' performance for us but some miscommunications between them and the SC I think.
Oh and Phobos is first for MSSE, followed by Triton! Hope we win Orientation! Go go phobos members! xD
Phobos 4 hot sia!
