Letters
I like hugs. Hugs are nice. Haha just that most think that they're awkward. So sad. Spread the love!
Need to find time to reply Val's letter. Shall cross stitch on the bus and mrt. :) Jiayou with yours, Val! :D
Ethel and I had a slight misunderstanding the other day, thank God so very much that it was resolved within the hour, if you could call it a misunderstanding. So sorry, Ethel, so so so sorry. Wanted to say to say the next day but didn't dare. And it was in SMS, which makes it worse since text is emotionless and you can't see the person's face. The good thing is that you have time to react, so you wouldn't say things you will regret saying a minute later. Of course, you must really mean what you say in a text message, otherwise it's just plain hypocrisy and zero integrity.
But letters, letters are a whole different thing. Letters are more intimate, more meaningful, more feeling and emotion. Letters are thoughts you write out with your own hand, not words you spell out and send using technology. Even if you can't phrase what you want to say, the other person can feel what you mean. I know I'm not good with words, so I take time to make sure that what I say in a letter comes from my heart. Haha that's why I usually take at least an hour to write one letter.
Do I regret writing that letter to Rasey? I don't know, even though that letter wounded her and in turn wounded me. As in I was hurt, knowing that I caused her hurt. But after that, she got stronger and I was more open-minded. So was it a good thing? I don't know.
But I do know that we don't have time left. We don't. And our wishes are smashed to the ground, by time. Open up while we still can, eh.
