Last event - i love you ODAC

Just had Expose last night. And man, i'm tired. We're all tired. But it was a good race, super intense and plot twists.

Met at Tanah Merah in our orange shirts, then they headed to the pool. Kaifeng, Xiuyun, Weiliang, Simin, Joaquin and i went to ecp to get the bikes. After all the groups had left, we headed to Macs with the other J2s. And studied from 1030 to 0230. Crazy. Then some played bridge, some started studying and some (like me and Jojo) slept. Haha i was brain-dead so i took a 20min nap. We left Macs at 0300 to set up our stations. Then after all the groups have passed Zhihao and I went to Manda, Jojo and Joaq's station to slack. Haha Manda and i had some good quality time while the others slept. Then when the other groups who skipped our station passed by, Zhihao and i walked back with them.

Yup so this is what happened. Chenhao left the pool first with a 25min lead, with Rhine behind him and Keith in 5th place. At the bike vendor, Keith reached first and Chenhao was behind him by 10 mins. Haha Keith's group has Yuxuan, who is familiar with the Bedok area and led them through a shortcut. And Chenhao played fair too, so their group walked to Kembangan and walked back to Ecp. Then 3rd was Rhine, then Nicholas, Haoyang and Yaozhi.
Cycling went smoothly, though Rhine and Haoyang's plotting was a bit off so they took a while to find the building. And Fort Canning was closed. Oh Keith told me that when they were heading from Vivo to Helix Bridge, the J1s just cycling on the highway until they hit the city, then they oriented themselves in the direction of MBS and cycling straight until they found the bridge, which is beside MBS. Smart, really, and strong cyclists with good navigation.

They all finished cycling without any casualties, and Keith, Yaozhi and Haoyang's came to Zhihao and my station. The others skipped it because it was occupied. All teams reached our station within 5-10 mins of each other. Haoyang's group was seriously dead, esp Priya. Haha then Rhine's group overshot the Sailing Centre and walked all the way past the MOE campsite, through the path of tall weeds and all the way until the start of the road that is next to the airport runway. Haha cos when they were close to the station, they met Nich who said that it is still very far. And they were on the wrong side of the road so they couldn't see the station. So after a long while Rhine called Jiaji and Dawn. Jiaji said they were at a hut, and Rhine thought he saw the outline of a hut in the dark far away. Rhine took out his headlight and waved, and this guy in orange waved back. Just nice Jiaji met Nich, who was waving too. And then Rhine called Dawn, and then he stopped walking, and just nice Dawn said, ehh did you stop walking? But it was Haoyang's group.

Hahaha seriously joke, so in the end Rhine's group was last, Haoyang 5th, Yaozhi 4th, Nicholas 3rd, Chenhao 2nd (sadly) and Keith 1st. *round of applause*

Hope the J1s will be able to manage and work together with their exco, not just under the exco. And that the exco will exceed their duties and bring everyone with them.

I love you, 9th MJC ODAC. I may be a small member, the most cui (physically, but i know i contribute through skills), but I'm really thankful for all the warmth we've shared. (: And I hope that I supported everyone else well.
