Weekdays feel a little lonely sometimes. Just sometimes. Especially when you look at the pile of work and the end of the semester doesn't seem to be drawing closer.

YAM camp.... Can't wait for YAM camp. Just spending 24 hours x 3 with friends. Even though it still feels weird to hang out with the YAs. At least you're always with friends. Not studying your own work with someone else but actually doing things together.

Then again, what is company without solitude.

Maybe I'm just lacking in sleep and need to relax. All's good when the sun is up but when the sun goes down.... ):

But I don't deny that I enjoy what I'm learning. Getting to see all kinds of animals from different phylum, from sponges to parasitic worms (eurgh) to water bears (lol -.-) and of course mammals. The most evolved of the lot. We've seen fish with no scales like the rabbit fish, and fish with no jaws like the hagfish (they look really really creepy) and some 2cm thick worms with many 'legs'. And we've heard all kinds of stories from the professors. But that's just Biodiversity.
Japanese studies is interesting, but as the readings get thicker and less narrative.... You've got to be in the right mood for reading otherwise nothing really goes in. Human geog such as population and GDP is just pretty dry sometimes.
The other modules are alright I guess. A bit boring. Organic chemistry can be interesting but it's so technical sometimes. And Prof Lai's voice makes you drowsy. It doesn't help that he likes to dim the lights all the way to the back row.

But I guess. University life does offer a freedom of what you do with your time. And nothing to do but study. ):
