It's the Holidays!!!

But it feels like this is my only week of hols. Just came back from Gold coast on Friday, and it'll be packed from next Tues to Sunday because of Christmas and....
YAM CAMPPPPP :D:D:D

As you can probably tell, I'm pretty stoked for it. ^^ Wonder who are my roommates, wonder who are my groupmates! Unless I know all of them already. Just hoping there's still a surprise left hahaha. But it'll be quite cool!! With Jojo and Valerie and Dom Yeo and Abby :):):)
And maybe I'll be able to get some rest too. :) Rest from taking care of people, rest from trying to entertain everyone, rest from work and responsibilities, rest from myself and my burdens.

Initiating a conversation with a stranger is easy, because they are the vulnerable one. But following-up week after week is hard. Trying to make someone rub shoulders with someone else is even harder. I have no idea how to do that. Every time I try, both parties just fall silent. And I get lost too, so I give up forcing them to talk to each other.
And in church, you're surrounded by your closest friends, the people you treasure the most. But the people whom you seldom talk to are there as well, and you just feel compelled to walk up to them. Whether you know it or not, by the end of the day, you're tired and you didn't even get to have a proper conversation with your friends.
Youth Comm is tiring too, I admit. Organizing activities, never letting your guard down during service, trying to impress everyone, it's tiring. Sometimes I feel left out 'cos Selly is closer to Amos and Cheryl, but I realize that's just jealousy and pride, the reason why I hesitated stepping up. It's always only Cheryl, Amos, Tim and Selly doing everything, but it's impossible to make a person feel responsible overnight if he's deaf to it.

Tired of being me. I think too much. I just want to rest with the closest of closest friends. Not at home alone, or with acquaintances. No need to do anything with them, just enjoy their company.
