This Season Thus Far
T'is the season for forming a proper relationship with God. One that is strong, firm and steadfast.
Of course, that takes time. A long long time.
Over the past weekend, I talked to Yujun and Hanyi. And they made me realize something.
We need to learn and train ourselves to see God in our day-to-day life. It's not merely about studying the Word and understanding it. That's only the first step. We need to train ourselves to see God's love and grace in everyday situations, the little coincidences that are pretty remarkable, simple acts of kindness around us. And the list goes on. And through it, maybe our vision of how big God is will grow and grow and grow. We always sing that God is so big, but how big is He to us?
We can't just find life in God, we need to find God in life.
Then maybe we'll learn truly what it means to rely daily on God for His grace. And grace will become more than a mere theological concept.
