Tweenteen Part II
Yesterday Selly and I studied together ^^ After so long. Haha it was a really nice day. Spent the morning watching the Games Comm have their dry run, then we had really awesome and funny conversations with Amos and Agnes, and we were treated to lunch at Kith cafe by Amos. (:
Somehow ended up studying in school today with the CFers and it was another awesome day. (: Haha there was a record of 18 CFers studying together! We had some trouble fitting everyone plus Abraham at the pink tables at lunch. And they celebrated Leng and my birthday with cheesecake, an iPhone candle and gifts!! We were kinda expecting something to happen, just didn't know when or what exactly haha. But still very paiseh to have such a large crowd and to blow an electronic candle held by Pam Yeh HAHAHA. Visited Joey's and her friend's spiders, got to know Wenny a bit more, got into a lift with Prof Wu and charged the air with awkwardness. Had a SeNT organised dialogue on Trafficking, which was VERY informative and REAL. So many stories. Was talking to Grace about the helplessness of it all as a student, and she reminded me that so seldom do we actually persist in prayer about a particular item, day after day.
I guess God is really teaching me about prayer.
Then back to Joey's lab to feed the big spiders with mealworm and catch a baby gecko to protect Maisie's bag. (:
Can't celebrate with Leng next year anymore :( But wow really touched by all the thought that went into it. A fish+diver tote bag, thermos flask, coffee mix and LETTERS. Did not expect it at all, birthdays are always a quiet affair for me. But. So sad to see the seniors go. :'(
