Hello, 2015

Going for 3 camps in a month was crazy. I didn't have a chance to rest adequately from the previous ones before going for the next, plus Dom flew on 1 Jan 11pm, so I was walking around with closed eyes on 31st and 1st Jan. Quite literally closed eyes. Still fighting a flu and sore throat that I got purely from the lack of sleep. And yes I am typing this at 0109 hours.

But there was so much I learned last month, so much I struggled with and am left to struggle with. I know there are still more things I've swept under the carpet, and things I know that is broken/fallen in me yet I don't grief over. Joey says I shouldn't stress myself out and just deal with what is before me. I guess God knows my limits better than I do. It's more important to start struggling with things than to dig for things to struggle with in future. The process of sanctification is a process.

But there are also things I want to strive for.

1. It's about BEING, not DOING.
2. LOVE and be genuinely and actively interested in others (Youths, Freshies, Befriends, International students).
3. A deeper trust and faith in Father.
4. Prayer and a deeper exploration of the Word.
5. Be uncomfortable with oppression and our own brokenness.

I've only just began growing in God. But I wonder if I'm meant to disciple the next comm, if it is my place to, and if I will fail to be a good discipler.
