Growth Season: Week 3 & 4

Caught by sister praying on her bed. Praise the Lord. Threw a quiet mini celebration inside. Sigh I should pray more for my family. Learn to love them, and along the way, learn to care for others with my emotions.

It's Thurs of Week 4, and so ends the spate of events that had me coming home late almost every night for 3 weeks in a row. I need a break, my body is rebelling and my mind is running on perseverance. But in everything, the energy I have is all from God's strength.

Week 3. My brain was starting to unravel itself in Week 3. I can't say I gained much from FT, having heard all their stories before. But it was still a huge blessing and joy to see Wex and Pam and Joey Song again, beloved seniors who genuinely have shaped my uni experience. GBG was also quite special, met people and heard stories, got closer to Margaret. Week 3 was also a tough week. Did not understand a single thing on Thurs stats tutorial (final straw) so I left class early, went to find Leng at Platypus and basically broke into pieces on her shoulder. God somehow gave me strength to pull myself to LT9 immediately after that. Also had SEnT workshop, which was so blessed. (Refer to minutes lol)

Week 4. My body's turn to unravel. Had digestion and appetite problems this week, visible decrease in physical energy, nodding off during readings. Didn't go for sermon on Sunday. Slept late on Mon and Tues because of the Bible cover I was making, slept late on Wed because of GBG. Glad to be able to sleep before midnight tonight (after the past few weeks). But Jish gave away a Thai Bible and told the uncle that this is a book that can transform lives. Special day.

What have I learned?
1. GBG, SEnT workshop --> God is working, God is God.
2. Strength in fatigue --> God is faithful, so faithful is His love. Got to a point where I was requesting for strength every 5 min, and each time, He did.
3. The joy of meeting friends (Exco people, Leng, Thng, Rebs on last Thurs, Kim & Jess on Wed) was like splashes of bright paint over the course of the day, given at just the right time to help me push through the rest of the day --> Community is good, but God is better. I can't rely on people to help recharge me, got to rely on God and learn to shabbat in Him.
