Preparation

LORD know I am nervous inside, though I feel calm on the outside. Where has the excitement gone to?
Some things the Lord has been speaking to me again and again:

1. It's not about the skills I'm equipped with, because the work is God's. The seed of the Gospel will grow on its own because the power lies in the Gospel itself, not the worker.

2. YHWH is Jehovah Jireh, the I AM who provides. I shall not want.

P. S. More things I'm learning, while waiting.

3. Though I am worried that these plans will change, and I don't want them to change, but ultimately God will have His ways and I have to surrender my plans to Him. (thanks, Unnie)

4. The most important path is to discern God's will through much prayer, because He is the one laying down the path for the worker. Such a fear of God that honours Him, is the path of wisdom.

5. The Gospel is a news of great joy, and the tone of our ministry, mission, and worship should be characterised by joy too - joy out of praise of our God. (But also reverence and awe la.)

6. God spoke to Abram only twice - but Abram continued plodding on.
